Sign-Up

For your initial sign-up, please make sure you upload the following credentials including those that are required by your respective state:

  • Required - Driver’s License (Please do not list as your profile picture)

  • Required - Notary Credentials such as Commission or State Certificate

  • E&O Insurance (state specific)

  • Surety Bond (state specific)

  • Additional Qualifications for some Notaries may include: License with the State Bar, Process Server License, Investigator License, or Immigration Specialist Certification based on the services you are qualified and licensed to offer in your respective state.

  • You will have the ability to update this information to remain current and active in our system.

  • Sign-up is done within minutes and as we continue to upgrade the app, the process will become even more seamless over time. the verification process in general can take between 3 - 5 business days due to the manual process at this time. If it has been a week and you have not received any notification that verification is complete, please contact us immediately so we can view your profile to see if there are any missing requirements. Email all request and inquiries to support@mobinp.com

  • California Notaries are verified immediately upon completion of sign-up.

Payment Information

At this time there is an option to add your bank card information for the banking institution you would like all your payments to be sent to. We will be adding additional options for receiving payments in the near future.

When you first set up your account, you will be required to setup and verify your payment information through Stripe. An account linked directly to your app will be created and you will be able to updated your payment information any time needed.

Reports Screen

The reports screen is the first thing you will see each time you open up your app on your mobile device so you can see the current status of all business transactions such as Pending, Upcoming, History, and you will also find your Profile on the bottom right of the screen by clicking on the person icon. At the bottom center of the screen is where you will find the Notary Community button with the three little people.

Pending Request

Under Pending, you will find all your jobs waiting to be accepted or declined unless they have already been canceled or accepted. All jobs showing Processing you will be able to click on for more information.

Accepted Jobs

Under Accepted jobs, you will find all jobs that you have accepted and when they are scheduled for along with other details about the time and location. Under this section, you will also receive alerts for any additional payments for fee adjustments that may be pending until the customer accepts the corrected fee adjustment.

History

The History section will show all jobs completed along with the details, fee, etc. This feature will be enhanced and have future iterations.

In App Notary Community

The Notary community is designed to be an area where a notary can reach out and receive immediate support and feedback from their peers (Sate Specific) while onsite at job. This community will grow organically over time to a place where all notaries can grow and receive support without have to be concerned about time limits or additional cost. It will be a safe place to learn, grow, and get better while also feeling like you can get the support you need while servicing clients on the go.

Notary Profile

The Notary Profile is where you can see your ratings, how many bookings you have, your reviews and location information. This section will also allow you to update your profile picture, business address, and professional credentials along with your Notary Commission number which will is required to verify your active status as a notary in your state.

Receiving Business

It order to receive business when customers submit request, you will need to have a complete notary profile, an active commission, and your app must be switched to the active status unless you are not accepting jobs as the moment, then you can turn it off.

Tracking Miles

You will also be able to review and track your mileage through the app for tax purposes and to help you evaluate your business activity. This feature will be built out in the near future with additional features.

Changing App Setting

In the App Settings section, you will be able to turn on and off push notifications for emails and community support and insights. The Settings section is where you also set your signing fees, travel fees, and mileage fees. We will be building out additional feature in this section soon.

How to Manage Payments

To manage payments, you will go into settings and click edit, this will take your Stripe account assigned to your device and number. This is where you can edit and update payment information. We are working on additional payment features for our next major build.

Adding Languages

We are currently in the process of adding a feature where you can edit and add additional languages you speak.

Community Forum

The Community Form is strictly for communicating with other Notaries on the platform to share news, updated, and information that can be helpful in growing ones business. Also, one of the key features of the Community Forum is to provide real-time support and guidance while a Notary is actively in the field servicing a customer and they need assistance properly completing a document. The Community Forum will at no time be used to rant, complain, degrade, or defame in any way, shape of form, another Notary, the MobiNP Company(s), or our competitors. This Community feature is a place where professional come to manage, share relevant information, and encourage others in being successful at running and maintain a well run business. If you have any issues or complaints that need to be resolved, they must be done offline by sending an email to support@mobinp.com so we can address your concerns.

If a community member is found to be in violation of exhibiting any type of negligent behavior that is apparent to do harm to, defame, or mischaracterize any person on or off our platform, a moderator will notify that person directly and give them a formal warning. If it the type of negligent behavior is repeated, the individual will be blocked from posting any comments on the platform including but not limited being removed from using the MobiNP Application all together. Each Notary Public, as a Public Official, has given an oath with their respective state to hold and conduct themselves in a manner that is professional, ethical, and upstanding in a manner that is consistent and as would be expected from a professional in their capacity as with any other professional capacity. As such, we here at MobiNP and the entire MobiNP Community expects the same reasonable behavior as would be expected of any business professional.

Your use as a Notary or Service Provider of the MobiNP platform is completely voluntary and you do so under your own compulsion and choice to do so. If there is something you would like to suggest, see improved, it is important that you reach out to our support team as soon as reasonably possible to resolve an issue or address other important matters or concern.
